reflections on Pre-U seminar 2008

Finally,I've created a blog..hopefully I could update it.haha..
The whole experience in Pre-U seminar was breathtaking!
Many had happened before the event itself but I'm glad/honoured to be able to get involved in Pre-u sem!

Saturday(24/05/08)
I went to meet Victoria MJC to brainstorm on our Opening Ceremony with Dr Vivian Balakrishnan presentation.We decided to do a mini puppet show.We met at Marina Square.Apparently,I took a wrong bus(700) and alighted near MAS and had to take the train to CityHall..oh my..haha..After the meeting, I met my cousin Adillia to watch "Gentarasa"(matinee).It was nice. :)
p.s: I was honoured to be chosen to be on stage with Dr Balakrishnan and the other 11 representative for a dialogue session in a such prestigious event.

Sunday(25/05/08)
Started packing up for Pre-u Seminar before Victoria comes to finalise our cute presentation. Victoria came at 1.30pm. We had fun trying out different voices with my mike and finished our whole presentation by 6pm.phew...


Monday(26/05/08)
It was raining heavily in the morning and I was in a taxi going to NTU.Had to reach by 9am for rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony.My bags were heavy..haha..The 12 OC(opening ceremony,tt's what Vicky called us) were treated so nice..(thanks MJC)..they drove us and allowed a different check-in. Mine was Blk 68 Level 4.. There were no lifts.haha..When I opened the door,I saw a tall girl and she gave me a welcoming smile..She is none other than my room-mi,Nicole(NYJC)..phew,i was blessed with a nice and warmth room-mi.hehe..umpack my stuff,changed and went for some games..We played a game called "bombing sth sth",blanket games(powder fight),spongebob throwing games..haha..Our first cheer was "A,B,C,D,E,F,G...Y&Z"haha..

Tuesday(27/05/08)
Woke up at 5.15am and got ready by 6am..Went down for breakfast at 6.30am..I had to go off early to the Auditorium as we have to get ready for the OC..Nerve-wrecking but excited at the same time..
The settings on stage was like Singapore Idol(TOP 12 FINALISTS)..haha..Vicky and my presentation went smoothly with laughters and all(phew)..haha..then there was a long queue to pose to the minister..wow.haha..after that,we had a tea ceremony..Minister for Education Mr Ng Eng Hen were there too.. Ms Tham Kum Chee gave hugs to all of us, she's so nice!
Once we were out of the auditorium hall,we went for the reception. Dr Faishal Ibrahim(MP) was there and interacted with us..he even remember the presentation Vicky did with me(oh my, i was so honoured..haha)Took photos of course..Dr Balakrishanan was so cool when he is okay to take informal pictures with us.haha..it was a great event i must say..My principal,Mr Tan came over to me and congratulated me.oh my..I just wish some ''people'' know(not for bragging sake)..

Then we went for Digital Chase..it was crazy when you mix a bunch of enthu people in the same group!!! Were camwhoring..haha..SG 26 rocks!!We were "fast" in finishing the race, got 2nd place(from the back.lol)..had dinner and supper..btw,we had 6 meals everyday!!!oh my..
